RUFF ’&’ TUFF Texture is a modified acrylic, silica based product that can be used to give a wide range of innovative trowel based patterns for interior and exterior wall surface. It is composed of high quality durable acrylic modified resin specially designed as an intermediate coating.
Surface Preparation and Application
RUFF ‘&’ TUFF Texture can be applied on almost all interior or exterior such as cement / sand rendering cement / lime/ sand rendering, concrete bricks and blocks precast, concrete surface, asbestos cement surface, plywood previously painted surface.
Clean the Surface. Apply Ruff ‘&’ Tuff by a trowel or a spatula to obtain a uniform coating of around 2-3 mm Thickness. Wait for 5-10 minutes, depending on climatic conditions, before creating a pattern. Allow the texture to dry for 4-8 hours prior to apply top coat application. The Ruff & Tuff pattern can be create by moving the trowel/spatula with horizontal, swirl & vertical strokes. Allow the texture to dry overnight prior to any top application. Apply two coat of DCC Paints exterior emulsions by diluting 1 Ltr with a maximum of 400 ml of water for long lasting performance.
